Rockdale Seven Ways Access Point

Today we installed an Acccess point. It's SSID is cw.net.au/alex

The AP is made up of two minitar MNWAPB's in a pipe enclosure - one receives the incoming link from Bexley with a cantenna, and the other re-transmits as an AP using the 8dBi colinear omni.

The photos speek for themselves about the quality of the coverage of this AP. The train station is Rockdale, which now has it's own WiFi hotspot. It was way too tempting to make this article's name "Cityrail announces Wireless Hotspot Service at Rockdale Station"

The cantenna replaces a Vagi that we had on the pipe, as the link to the Bexley repeater is so strong, and hence we were able to save some money on the install and re-allocate the Vagi to a higher purpose. The ugly tape is temporary and has been removed. Yes we know that the pole is ugly and un-necessary!!
